When it comes to pure chart domination, superstar duo The Chainsmokers have enjoyed rarefied air. After originally breaking out with the 2013 novelty track “#Selfie,” members Drew Taggart and Alex Pall took the music world by surprise with a string of smash songs that have since become ubiquitous mainstays of the pop landscape, from the instantly recognizable “Don’t Let Me Down” to the tender “Paris” and their Halsey-assisted powerhouse “Closer.”
In advance of the 60th Annual Grammy Awards on January 29 (where the duo is nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for their Coldplay collaboration “Something Just Like This”), The Chainsmokers put together an exclusive playlist that features a bevy of deep cut remixes and dance jams perfect for a sweat-inducing cardio workout. And if they take home an award this year, it’ll be their second in a row, having won kudos for Best Dance Recording for “Don’t Let Me Down” in 2017. “Did we win a Grammy?” Taggart rhetorically jokes. “It’s still surreal.”
