Facial mists that do more

Plus, the best ones for your skin.

Often thought of as a remedy for summer heat, facial mists can definitely help cool down your skin with a quick spritz. But it’s a good idea to use them throughout the year, too, thanks to their super hydrating ingredients such as essential oils, rose water, aloe vera, and more. They’re helpful in setting makeup, and for guys, a mist can even soothe your skin after a rigorous shave.

So effective is a facial mist that spas are even using them to deliver a more results-oriented treatment. Jeka Henderson, master esthetician at The Spa at the Grand Summit Lodge in Park City, Utah, often uses mists at the end of her facials. “A mist is great for an immediate boost of energy that gets you going on your day,” she says.

Below, seven of our favorite mists to take you through warmer weather and beyond.
